They tell us Devils Lake is the #1 ice fishing destination in the Lower 48 States. We believe it, Perch, Walleye, Northern Pike, Crappie and White Bass are the gamefish of choice for our clients, and we do our best to help them fulfill their dreams of ice fishing this area. We spend on average 80-90 days on the ice guiding clients, maintaining heated fish houses, and fishing ourselves. We know the lake, and we know the fish. Devils Lake is a huge fish factory, and biologists say fishing has no impact on the lake's population, which is booming. Year-round fishing, (no closed seasons), ample possession limits, and no restrictions on taking fish back home with you (Canada), make the area very appealing.
We make it Accessable
We know the Lake. We know how and where to access good ice fishing. We have the equipment to help you get on the ice and the knowledge to get you on the fish. We maintain ice roads on the lake as soon as safely possible, and plow them daily for your use, as well as coordinate with other resorts to maintain a series of roads for our clients. We also maintain a fleet of heated ice houses for your rental, as well as a sleeper shack to overnight on the ice, if you desire. By owning the Sportsmans Lodge as well, we are able to provide off-ice accommodations as well and have affordable packages for the ice fisherman/woman.
